Psychology Services
Here are some examples of the therapeutic support I can provide. Your needs might present differently from what I have outlined below, so please feel free to get in touch as I am happy to discuss the difficulties you are experiencing and whether I am the right person to work with you.
My clinical experience is with children and young people, although I am happy to work with adults and older people.
-
Anxiety and Depression
I can support with a whole range of emotional difficulties. These include anxiety difficulties, including specific phobia, social anxiety and generalised anxiety. I work with low mood (depression), trauma, low self-esteem and perfectionism.
-
Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity
My practice is inclusive of LGBTQ+/GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diverse) clients. My research focuses on GSRD, particularly around how to support the mental health needs of people who identify as LGBTQ+/GSRD, and I can offer a range of psychological therapy within these areas.
-
Eating Disorders
I can provide psychological therapy to those with eating difficulties such as Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Binge Eating Disorder (BED) and Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
After the 90-minute appointment, I tend to work with people in one-to-one sessions, lasting 50 minutes. From time to time, it may be important to bring in people in a person’s family or support network. This is always done in negotiation with you.
I would always recommend we work together face-to-face and can meet with you in a therapeutic space in Norwich. However, I understand not everyone wants in-person therapy, and I am happy to consider online working if this is best for you.
