About me

I’ve been working in health and social care since 2010. I’ve worked with children and adults with learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders (such as autism and ADHD) and behaviour that challenges.

I moved to the NHS in 2016 to train as a clinical psychologist. During my training, I worked with people of all ages in community mental health teams. I also worked in sexual health and adult eating disorder services.

I qualified as a clinical psychologist from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2019. Since then, I’ve worked in neurodevelopmental assessment services, assessing and supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

I developed my private practice in 2020, predominantly being involved in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and family court assessments.

Alongside my private practice, I work in the NHS in child and adolescent eating disorder services, and I have an academic position at the UEA, being involved in teaching and research. I teach both under- and post-graduates, including the training of future clinical psychologists. My teaching topics centre around my clinical interests of eating disorders and neurodevelopment. I also supervise and conduct research.

Given my experience with teaching and training, I am open to delivering bespoke training sessions for services and organisations. Please get in touch to discuss your training needs.

Through my 12 years of practical experience, I have developed a few areas of interest and expertise, including:

  • Eating disorders and difficulties

  • Mental health needs of those with neurodevelopmental difficulties

  • Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD)
